Panchsheel Bio Speciality is a progressive biotechnology unit of Panchsheel Organics Ltd., supported by advanced research and development infrastructure. The facility is equipped with pilot-scale fermenters of 15 litres, 30 litres, and 80 litres, enabling robust product development, process optimization, and scale-up for fermentation-based products in line with pharmaceutical industry standards.
The unit currently operates commercial fermentation capacities comprising five 5.0 KL fermenters and two 20 KL fermenters, facilitating the manufacturing of critical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) such as Mupirocin and Tacrolimus, along with several other API products. These operations are conducted under stringent quality systems to ensure consistency, regulatory compliance, and global acceptance.
To meet the rising demand from domestic and international markets, Panchsheel Bio Speciality is expanding its footprint with a large-scale fermentation facility of 300,000 litres at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, India. This facility, presently in the commissioning phase, is expected to commence operations by April 2026 and will focus on the production of APIs, probiotics, enzymes, animal feed and feed blends, and nutritional products. The company also welcomes strategic partnerships and joint collaborations with reputed Indian and international organizations for co-marketing, distribution, and technology sharing across its biotechnology portfolio.
